Fantasia -The Nutcracker Suite (art and movement research)

In this well known song, the animation helps form its beautiful and well thought out masterpiece, the animation is incredibly smooth and entrancing! I'm always hypnotized by all the vibrant colours and detail, specially the fairy part (cheesy I know but you always have to let out your inner girly girl/child) With the fairies the character design itself is very bland by the way that they are very bold and lack in much detail. I don't hate it! I love simplicity, but its not the design i enjoy. The part i love is the movement of them. when you watch and pay close attention you realise that each fairy is paired with an instrument which fits the fairies character.

I really want that to show in my final piece! i really want the emotion to show through the use and help of an instrument, to marry the two together with such unison that the viewer knows exactly what is going on between the two and how well they bode together.
