Here are some stills from the editing. We want some really nice camera angles and sweeps to help show the emotion of the character as well as our ability  to frame some pretty shots. 

The first section of the project (2D/ Joy) will be shown through still camera angles with pretty much no camera movements as itll be hard to animate the inky trails if the camera is moving all the way around the character. 

However the CGI bits will have a lot of camera movements and close ups of the figures to display the falling charcoal or liquid/ smokey ink moving around the figures.

A behind the scenes sneak preview of the motion capture work for Infinitus Artificium.

With this session we did a whole day in the studio getting all of the footage done.
We did hit a few moments were the balls were not being scanned with the cameras if the figures were laying down or being lifted by the other. But we sorted a few of these problems by just re-adjusting a few of the balls so that they would be visible. If that failed Jens had to go through afterwards and do a cleaning session with the footage.

Within the next two days or so I shall post a few of the footage/clips from the motion capture session so you can see what its starting to form into!
